Dead Island is a typical console oriented game with a crappy PC port. Shortly after its PC release, the community had already found ways to modify the game to fix the glitches. I chose some of the discovered modifications in the Steam forum which possibly reduce the puking feeling while playing and package them in a single zip file so you don't need to read so many posts around.

Tweaks included

1. Disabled bloom effect.
2. Disabled motion blur while looking.

3. Disabled weapon swing blur.
4. Disabled intro movies.
5. Disabled SSAO for more FPS.
6. High Quality graphics tweak (http://solidlystated.com/software/dead-island-pc-full-graphics-options/)
7. Balanced mouse speed for menu and aiming.
8. 90 degree FOV.
